Now I have found a great Mexican restaurant that's close by where I live. Literally. A $10 Restaurant.com gift certificate brought me here. Heard of the place, saw the deal, and thus had an excuse to try it out. The inside decor is appealing. They have a bar when you walk in, and booths as well as tables on the left and right sides of the restaurant. Service is excellent; refilled our drinks quickly and the food was brought to our table in a timely fashion. Speaking of the food, it was delicious. I had the beef enchilada dinner. They put 3 good-sized enchiladas, chunky refried beans, spanish rice, and 2 wedges of quesadilla on the side. Not to mention the free chips and salsa. I plan on trying the Carne Asada or their fajitas. Overall a great friendly place. People are always here!

Good food, good portions, and a fare price. Salsa verde was spicy, but flavorful. Pico de gallo was fresh and bursting with flavor. And of course, a full selection of cold Mexican beer! Only negative - no queso

This place is getting 1 star because the Salsa was good, and that is the only thing. Poor Poor Customer Services. My 11 year old said mom this was a bad choice. Chicken Bland and tasted old my baby had nachos with no melted cheese on top. WTF why is this place open The lady waiters set for 10 min eating before she took our order and was Rude and Nasty. I will never step foot in this place AGAIN!!! I Taco Bell taste better than this place.

The atmosphere is great, the staff was very friendly and the food was good. I ordered the steak tacos. I've had better but they were still good. The salsa verde is one of the best I have had. I am going to order either the chimichanga or the lomo tacos next time but I will be back.

Mexican food connoisseur here, this place is below average. Taco Bell is average. Steak tacos were bland, cilantro taste too strong, verde taco sauce was bland/watery. I agree with other reviewer, beans was chunky but was the best part of the meal. Rice ok. Specialty seems to be breakfast...maybe I should have ordered the eggs.

This place is nothing to write home to mom about. I ordered chicken tacos and chicken enchiladas and they both were bland. They gave us some tortilla chips and salsa but the chips were old. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Great food and decently priced. Drove past it many times saying either to myself or my passengers that I really have to try that place someday. Well I finally did and it was fantastic.

I was really bummed that I visited this place with good expectations per yelp. Sadly, I was let down. The food here is awful. My friend and I ordered the most basic thing on the menu. Steak tacos, rice and beans and it was terrible. The rice was dry and not hot in temperature; I am pretty certain that it was sitting out for a long time. The beans weren't mashed at all; they were chunky but probably the most flavorful of my dish. The tacos were terrible--they made me want to cry. The steak was mixed in with grilled onions (I thought raw onions came on steak tacos) and something else that tasted gelatinous (ew, it grosses me out thinking about it). Cheese and lettuce was barely sprinkled on the taco. I had to drown mine in salsa verde sauce for it to be somewhat palatable--but sadly, this didn't even help me finish my meal. We did order drinks which were okay, but not really worth the money. If you do order it, I suggest getting strawberry margarita mixed with pina colada. Don't get the pitcher because you will be mad you did; they just don't taste that good. Very watery, and lacking flavor. My server was actually very helpful and pleasant. This made my time comfortable here. If you decide to go, stick with chips and salsa and a Mexican beer. I won't be back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
